Our Space

Welcome to our coffee shop, where the art of interior design meets the essence of human connection. From the very inception of our space, our vision was clear — to create an environment that would transcend mere bricks and mortar and evolve into a heartfelt sanctuary, fostering bonds and kindling conversations. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, every element of our interior design serves a purpose — to beckon individuals from all walks of life, inviting them to pause, savour the rich aromas, and relish in the warmth of shared moments. Step inside, and you will discover how every hue, every texture, and every carefully curated piece was thoughtfully woven together to transform this coffee shop into an inviting haven, where friendships brew and memories blossom.

Design

  • The leading idea was to create a space that would be instantly welcoming.

The design does not focus solely on a visual experience but brings all the senses into play, from subtly textured materials to pleasing sounds and smells, creating a harmonious experience.

The curves shaped by the natural forces of wind and water inspired the flow of circulation between several clearly defined but open spaces.

The layout was also informed by The “E” of Être, which traces the seating area and the curve of the main counter, merged together in a single element.

  • The curated materials and colour palette are a conscious choice, aimed at letting each material play its part in the overall feel of the space.

With its smooth and rough textures, the polished plaster walls unify the other elements. The powdery colour and texture is reminiscent of the sand, adding warmth.

The “E” from Être is used to create a textured shape on the wall, with wall-lights nestling in its curve.

The powder-coated metal furniture adds a casual, urban touch, essential to balance the more noble materials - used unashamedly- and to step away from formality.

Helping to define the seating, the soft, anthracite banquette and black wood stools contrast with the warm colours of the tables and counters.

Similarly, the dark red micro-cement used on the counter adds practical qualities to aesthetic properties as it echoes the texture of the walls while anchoring the bulk of the counters to their base.

The infinite colour variation of the travertine, weaving waves of vibrant shades of red, coral with shell pinks, gives a sense of movement.

  • First, you are drawn in by the warm colours. The space opens up and guides you within the fold of the main counter, greeted by the barista, to choose your perfect coffee and pick a treat.

If the coffee aromas and the scent of fresh baked goods make you wish you to linger a while you can pop down your laptop and catch up with work, or pick up a book and enjoy a moment just for yourself. If you sit at the large table, on the curved banquette, you may share a moment with new faces, or catch up with friends.

Looking up, you may gaze at the flow of customer swirling in and out, admire the barista perform latte art, and keeping an eye over the counter where the fresh bakery is happening. It is a one of-a-kind moment, enough to let go and just be.

But you are not idle. You have a busy day ahead, so perhaps perching on a high stool, sipping espresso whilst watching the world go by is becoming your best new routine.
